Dick Merrill

Dick Merrill has 25 years experience in the semiconductor industry, at IBM,
National Semiconductor, and most recently at Foveon, a silicon valley
startup company focused on image sensor development. Image sensors
represent well the analog product of the future: physics limited
performance, commodity manufacturing requirements, and product differentiation in the
marketplace. His presentation will use the Foveon X3 imager technology
as an example of these challenges for analog products of the future.
