Scott Gottlieb, M.D. is a former senior policy adviser to the Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and to the Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) at the Department of Health and Human Services. At AEI, Dr. Gottlieb researched FDA and CMS regulatory policies, the development of new medical technology, and political and clinical trends in medicine. Dr. Gottlieb is also the author of the new Forbes/Gottlieb Medical Technology Investor, an investment newsletter.
